| Daies Idiculla was born on April 29, 1970 as the son of M.I.Idiculla and Leelamma Idiculla at Ranny. He had his schooling at Ranny. Took his bachelor's degree in Commerce, from St.Thomas College, Ranny and later on Master degree in Library & Information Science from IMG Study Center Trivandrum. |

| His grant father instilled in him the need to take pride in Indian culture & tradition. H.E. Mor Clemis Abraham Metropolitan (The Chief Metropolitan of the East) initiated him to support literary works. Daies Idiculla remembers that it was all that which moulded him. |

| His first published book was "Knanaya Sabhayude Bhagya Nakshathram" (Biography of H.E. Mor Clemis Abraham Metropolitan :The Chief Metropolitan of the East) on 1999. |

Later he published 2 Books:- |
| 1. "Manjinikkarayude Manasam" Biography of H.H. Mor Ignatius Elias III (The Patriarch of Antioch & all the East). |

| 2. "Poruthi Jaycha Smara Nayakan" Biography of Late Mr. Vayala Idiculla M.L.A (Prominent political leader of Kerala). |

He started his career by working as a Librarian in St.Ephrem Ecumenical Research Center (SEERI) at Kottayam in Kerala. Now he is working as a Librarian in Gulf Medical College, Ajman, UAE. |
